A stunning George III Chamber Candlestick, made by the world famous inventor and silversmith Matthew Boulton, assayed in Birmingham in 1797 (395g) and complete with its original conical snuffer. It has a minor amount of age related ware, but is in overall fantastic condition.
Another example of this Chamber stick can be viewed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Inventor of the Boulton and Watt steam engine, they helped introduce mass production to factories all over the world.
At his Soho, London facility he produced the 1797 Cartwheel Penny and the 1805/06 Hibernia (Irish)Half Pennies and Farthings. The only coins ever produced for Great Britain outside of the Royal Mint. A true master of many disciplines, he was immortalised on the old British £50 note.
