The Trail of the Black and Tans - By “The Hurler on the ditch” (Mrs. Emily Ussher) Talbot Press, Dublin- 1921. A scarce work of fiction, which was suppressed in Ireland by the Royal Irish Constabulary and ignored by British publishers, even though Ussher was English and wrote the book as a warning to the British public of the atrocities being carried out in Ireland.
